This event was organized by the City of Atlantic City Multicultural Services, the Ghanaian Associations of South Jersey, and Atlantic City. The event brought together dignitaries, ambassadors, and fellow Ghanaians, and was graced by H.E. Harold Agyeman, Ghana’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

This event was organized in collaboration with the Ghanaian Association of Atlantic City and The Links, Incorporated, an international not-for-profit organization of black women committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.
We partnered with SJBPC for the annual B2B Professional Conference where we addressed a dynamic group of small business owners on personal, business, and community advancement. In sharing insights on growth and success, we also highlighted the values deeply rooted in Ghanaian culture—entrepreneurship, resilience, and community upliftment. By drawing connections between traditional Ghanaian principles and modern business strategies, we encouraged attendees to embrace collaboration, innovation, and cultural identity as key drivers of success.
SALEM, NEW JERSEY
We visited John Fenwick Academy in Salem, NJ, where we hosted an engaging workshop for elementary students. We shared fascinating history about Ghana, highlighting its rich culture and heritage. The children also enthusiastically participated in an interactive African drum and dance session. It was a joyful and educational experience, creating a deeper appreciation for African traditions at an early age
This event was in partnership with the Ghanaian Association of South Jersey at the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey in Camden, which provides food and shelter for families of pediatric patients receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. As Ghanaians, we embraced this opportunity to serve our community, embodying the values of unity and compassion intrinsic to our heritage. We prepared and served Ghanaian dishes like Jollof, meat pie, chicken, and salad.
We partnered with the Ghanaian Association of South Jersey to organize a vibrant Ghana Independence Day Celebration, bringing the community together to honor Ghana’s rich history and heritage. Through engaging discussions, we shared insights on Ghanaian history, values, and cultural traditions, highlighting the importance of preserving our roots and celebrating the beauty of our Ghanaian identity. We also encouraged the diaspora to stay connected to their Ghanaian heritage and pass down these traditions to future generations, ensuring that Ghanaian culture continues to thrive across borders.
